We have quite a few events during the year in Marling Farms. The event dates and times vary from year to year so please see our Facebook page or the Community Board for details.
DATE VARIES At least one annual meeting per year is held to address and issues within the community, review the budget, elect new board members, etc.
MARCH/APRIL All children in Marling Farms are invited to Beach 3 to participate in our Annual Easter Egg Hunt. Games and activities to follow the hunt.
MAY A perfect opportunity to clean out the house and sell all those unwanted items. The yard sale is advertised in the local paper and online.
JUNE After the last day of school, all kids living in Marling Farms are welcome to have a free Ince cream at Beach 3.
DATE VARIES A great time to meet new members of the community and catch up with old friends. Burgers and hot dogs provided. Each member of the community brings a dish to share. Prizes for best desserts.
OCTOBER Bring a bottle of wine, beer, a cheese plate or charcuterie, or any other beverage or snack to share while enjoying the sunset with your neighbors over Crab Alley.
OCTOBER Show off your spooky spirit. Prizes awarded for the 3 creepiest houses.
DECEMBER Decorate your car, truck, trailer, golf cart, bike--whatever--and join in the fun!
Show off your holiday spirit by decking the house. Prizes for the top homes and special prizes for the top 3.

Kent Island Farmer's Market
Every Thursday from 3:30 until 6:30 PM, Cult Classic Brewing parking lot
The market features a wide variety of food and products: Olives and olive oil, balsamic vinegar, baked goods, local wine, local dairy, wild caught seafood, naturally raised meat, artisan breads, local organic produce by farmers from the Chesapeake Bay region. More info
